Notebook – Guided Instruction
Our Smart Notebook Guided Instruction Activities allow you to follow along step-by-step in creating a useful activity for your classroom. Each activity is broken up into easy-to-follow, short video segments that allow you to work at your own pace and start and stop as often as needed. All you do is follow along in Notebook while watching the step-by-step videos. You can start, stop, and rewind the videos as often as you need. Best of all, most activities can be completed in under an hour.

This Guided Instruction Activity shows how to create an interactive application in Smart Notebook that allows the person at the SMART Board to touch a button to reveal individual steps in a multi-step process. The Guided Activity creates a solution for a Mathematical equation; however, users can change to information that is revealed when a button is touched.

Turn On The Light
This course will guide participants through the process of creating an authentic multi-page interactive application in Smart Notebook 10. Users will build a fun review game called Turn On the Light that will challenge students to solve a problem and then search around the page using a flashlight to see if they can reveal the correct answer. When they think they have found the correct answer, they touch the light switch to see if they are correct. If they are correct, the lights will turn on and they can go to the next question. If the student touches the wrong light switch, the lights will stay off and they will be told to return to the original question.
